The aim of the Permanent Observatory on Ecclesiastical Assets is to promote knowledge of ecclesiastical assets and property within the Church and outside of it, promote professional expertise in the management of assets and property and contribute to the increase of collegiality in the governance of ecclesiastical assets so that they may better serve the Church\u2019s Mission and the specific aims for which they were created, purchased and donated.<\/p>\n

Managing Ecclesiastical Assets with knowledge, expertise and collegiality<\/strong> directly helps the development of the Church\u2019s Mission and the purposes of worship, decent support of the clergy, as well as works of charity, assistance, donation and training. In a context where the lay faithful are jointly responsible in the\u00a0 Mission of the Church (Lumen Gentium 31) and also provide their\u00a0 professionalism in these areas.<\/p>\n

HISTORY AND VALUES<\/h3>\n

The Permanent Observatory on Ecclesiastical Assets is the ripe fruit of more than 25 years of experience in managing and administering bodies connected to the aims of the Church, bodies belonging to the Church and providing advice to religious and ecclesiastical bodies. It was founded by Antonio Sanchez Fraga, an economist and graduate in Canon law with a master and specific training in the sector who wishes to show his gratitude for everything he received in his academic and professional career by providing the experience he has developed over the years to avoid the scandals we have seen in recent decades that were caused by a lack of knowledge, incompetence and a serious absence of collegiality in decision-making processes regarding these specific assets.<\/p>\n

Lo scopo dell'Osservatorio Permanente sui Beni Ecclesiastici<\/strong> \u00e8 quello di promuovere la conoscenza dei patrimoni e beni ecclesiastici all\u2019interno della Chiesa e verso l\u2019esterno, stimolare la competenza professionale nella gestione di questi beni e contribuire alla crescita della collegialit\u00e0 nella governance di questi patrimoni allo scopo che questi beni ecclesiastici possano servire meglio la Missione della Chiesa e le finalit\u00e0 specifiche per cui sono stati costituiti, acquistati, donati.<\/p>\r\n

Gestire con conoscenza, competenza e collegialit\u00e0<\/strong> i Beni Ecclesiastici aiuta direttamente allo sviluppo della Missione della Chiesa ed alle finalit\u00e0 di culto, di sostentamento del clero, delle opere di carit\u00e0, assistenza, beneficenza, formazione.
